Heidi Johnson, life-long resident of New Preston, has devoted a great deal of her time and energy outside of photography as an EMT, EMS Instructor, and CPR Instructor. As Assistant Chief of Washington Ambulance Association, Heidi has led Washington’s all-volunteer Emergency Medical Services through the protocols and training necessary to safely respond to calls during the pandemic. While devoting countless hours to volunteer efforts in her hometown, Heidi still worked long hours as an EMT in New Milford. Heidi also volunteers at the High Watch Vaccination Clinic in Kent. She takes great pride in actively responding to her neighbors in need during the pandemic and now, as a vaccinator, in helping people protect themselves. Her passion for teaching is evident in the variety of classes she teaches.
